The Commercial Department* of the French Embassy is looking for sales representatives in Germany for an established and dynamic French bright steel producer. This company’s peeling mill specialises in the precise production of a wide range of steels. The company supplies its customers with high quality steel bar products in rolled, bright, peeled and cut to size.

The French company (40 employees, 35 million turnover, IATF and ISO 9001 certification) has been operating for more than 25 years. Its activity on the German market is facilitated by its warehouse in Baden-Württemberg.
The company is primarily looking for sales representatives who are well established in the steel and metal industry in Germany.
The company’s customers are companies from various industrial sectors:
- Automotive: Original equipment manufacturers, suppliers, turned parts manufacturers
- Fasteners/manufacturers of fastening solutions, for example in the wind turbine and railway sectors
- Manufacturers (or suppliers) of machine tools
- Suppliers in the defence industry
The special expertise of the French company:
- Expertise in peel turning
- Specific saw cuts
- Possibility of supplying bright steel with tighter tolerances than the norm
The company is also characterised by its great flexibility, short delivery times and a good price-performance ratio.
The company already has customers in Germany and would like to develop sustainably on the German market with the help of committed German sales representatives.
The main tasks include
- Creation of an action plan for the German market or for the sales territory
- New customer acquisition and active acquisition of German companies
- Regular reporting on contacts and visits
Wanted profile:
- Good knowledge of the German steel, metal and automotive industry and German industry in general
- Experience in sales of technical products
- German as mother tongue, command of English is essential, command of French is an advantage

Remuneration:

The French company offers the sales representative training on the company premises as well as active support in concluding initial contracts.
